Two of the three injured Bundeswehr soldiers who were flown back to
Germany from Afghanistan on Friday are fighting for their lives in
a military hospital in Koblenz.
A hospital spokesman said their
injuries were life-threatening and that each was in an artificially
induced coma. The three German peacekeepers were wounded in an
attack on a Bundeswehr patrol in the northern Afghan city of Kunduz
earlier in the week.
