Emmanuel Zeltser was sentenced
Monday after being convicted of commercial espionage and using
false documents in a closed trial. Zeltser is an expert on
organized crime and money laundering. The United States has raised
protests over his detention and concerns about his health in
custody. His attorney has said he is not getting proper medication
for diabetes.
