Zimbabwe's rival political factions are set to resume power-sharing
talks after two days of negotiations in the capital failed to
produce a deal.
South African President Thabo Mbeki has been
leading the mediations in Harare. Zimbabwean President Robert
Mugabe, the leader of the Movement for Democratic Change Morgan
Tsvangirai and the head of a smaller MDC faction, Arthur Mutambara,
are trying to reach a deal aimed at ending Zimbabwe's bitter
election dispute. Zimbabwe has been in political limbo since Robert
Mugabe won a widely condemned presidential run-off in June that was
boycotted by Tsvangirai.
