have claimed the lives of at least five people and wounded 19
others, security sources said.
As many as five people were killed
and up to ten wounded, when a bomb targeting a police patrol
exploded. As other police ran to help a second bomb went off.
Meanwhile, in Baquba, two policemen were killed and six others were
wounded in a shootout with suspected Al-Qaeda operatives.
